K is for Ken, L is for Lydia

In Bruges is everything I want from a film. It’s funny but kinda brutal and the bad guys are highly likable (Brendan Gleeson is the sweetest faced bad guy, omigosh). Also, Bruges really does look like a fairytale town…

Lydia Deetz will always be my teen idol. To this day, she inspires me to take too many photos and scowl at dinner parties.

(You can check out the rest of the movie alphabet here.)

  1. I must’ve missed the introductory post on this series as it wasn’t until today that I realized you were actually creating these things yourself. I’m quite impressed.

I went back through your alphabet and looked at your earlier efforts. I think Ripley and Yojimbo are my favorites. Well done.

  2. Thanks! I don’t think movie watching requires any structure but it’s been a lot of fun. (Yojimbo’s probably my favorite. I only saw that this past year!)
