Borough Market

Pictures I took last month around Borough Market:

mountains and mountains of pretty produce

I gave up eating cheese a few months back but, holy shit. I almost caved at this Raclette stall. The sight and smell of hot, melty cheese being scraped onto potatoes is HYPNOTIC.

Brats for Dean, watermelon and a sweet potato pie dinner for James. There’s no photo but I got some top notch felafel.

…and some Turkish Delight. Our favorite flavors: rose, fig, and pinesap. Yum!

Little critters: a lizard who hung out with us while we ate lunch, a sweet starling hopping around for scraps

I bought: watermelon juice, rambutan (I’d never had this before!), and a slice of spice cake from the ‘free from’ bakery. Maybe next time I’ll have some extra cash for fancy teas, sauces, and beers.

    • We were surprised by the lizard too- in my ignorance, I didn’t even know they existed in the UK. Yes! Pieminister is amazing- that’s where James got his sweet potato and mash meal. Can’t wait to go back!
