Tis the Season for the Cheeses

Our Second Annual Cheese Christmas was a great success. A bunch of us, too far from family, spent the day together to eat cheese and play board games. Everyone had a good time and made a fuss over Schnitzel (who always steals the show at our parties).

Some of our delicious fare:

Ladysmith and Mimolette (the softest and hardest cheeses respectively). I believe that’s a wine and cheese ball in the background.

Beecher’s flagship, mmmmm.

Coastal Cheddar and Parrano

Bacon-wrapped Brie, aka ‘The Wheel of Sin’

Other cheesy bites without photos: roasted Camembert, baked mac ‘n’ cheese, and dark chocolate cheese fudge.
Tasty non-cheeses: prune and walnut cakes (the king above crackers and tiny toast in my opinion), sundried tomatoes, olives, artichoke hearts, honey wine, candy cane soda, lots of Stash tea.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas full of treats. (Or as Dean says, ‘We wish you a Merry Cheesemas and a Happy Gruyère!)
