Shuffle off to Buffalo, part 4

We couldn’t miss a chance to sample the local fast food…

Ted’s Hot Dogs: This might be the most delicious hot dog I’ve ever had and I’m a hot dog connoisseur. I ordered the original with chili sauce. They char-broil the dog right in front of you and load it up with toppings of your choice.

I also ordered a small mountain of onion rings which were terrific, light in batter and seasoning- just the way I like ’em. I washed it all down with Loganberry.

Zorba’s Red Hots: We almost didn’t fit this in but we woke up early and had hot dogs right before our flight home. Zorba’s is in walking distance from my Grandma’s but for some reason I’d never had a meal there! Isn’t the building fantastic? It’s a friendly establishment, packed with breakfast regulars when we went. Everything on the menu is insanely affordable ($1.80 for a dog) and they actually bring the food over to you. My only regret is not being able to enjoy my Texas hot at a reasonable hour. It’s a pretty intense choice for a bleary-eyed breakfast…
