Shuffle off to Buffalo, part 3

A big part of this trip was scouting out potential wedding venues. Neither my grandma or Dean’s are up for much traveling so we’re planning two small weddings, one in Buffalo with my family and one in London with Dean’s. Our favorite of the venues was The Old Red Mill Inn.

It’s a restaurant in a 1800s farmhouse with connected train cars you can dine in. My aunt had her wedding reception in one of the train cars in the ’70s. :)

Red Mill Inn brunch is basically brunch heaven. It’s served buffet style with one long table of fruits, salads, breads; another of eggs benedict, bacon, french toast, sausages; another of pastas, cooked veggies, fish; and a back table of prime rib and waffles. I just about died of happiness.

It snowed on and off that day. I grew up in New York but mild Seattle has spoiled me- I’m a real baby about Buffalo weather now.

This was the view from the living room. A fine day to stay in and watch movies.
