Shuffle off to Buffalo, part 1

Dean and I are back from our long weekend across the country. What a splendid little vacation it was!

We had a midnight flight out of Seattle, with a layover in Chicago. We watched a complete sunrise at O’Hare before catching the second short flight to Buffalo.

Mom met us at the airport and whisked us off to Wegmans (aka World’s Greatest Supermarket). Oh Wegmans, how I miss your affordable produce and many flavors of W pop!

Haha, here’s Dean in a sea of Americana at the Anchor Bar, birthplace of Buffalo wings. We had dinner here with Mom and Aunt Barb. We had some beers and caught a performance by Aunt Barb’s friend, Lady Lolita. The Lady had a lovely voice.
